RE: Mail Alternatives?

Seeing as how you only want your registration info to go there, it sounds to me like you are looking for a mailing address in a state or county with lower registration fees. Come on and fess up. The PP tax is less than 1/3 of the Co that I have a residence, but I do operater a business and have a S-Corp listed in the Cheaper Co., but might add that I do not have an office or address there. Just want all the proper information.

RE: Registering MH to LLC or Corp?

I usually get some good advice here and I do know that there is a lot of Mt. LLC's but I guess it is like John Doe LLC., not ABC Contractors LLC? at least that way license would match LLC right? Of course I am old enough to use information in a responsible way and have learned a few lessons from hard knocks? Just fishing for and idea that might work in my situation... Thanks for the reply... PS: I am not trying to do anything wrong just want all the facts so as to ask the right people and what to expect when I do...

RE: Mail Alternatives?

Tom, that sounds like what I want to do, but on the form I have to fill out at the Mail Service it say that you have to file the postal form to have all mail sent to this address for the person listed on the Form. I wanted my banking stuff and other mail, other than registration stuff sent to my usual address> something to do with HLS I think...I guess PO keeps those change of address for up to 2yr or so?? Avan that would work for me also, but both my address are in the same state, just wanted to register MH in a different Co.

RE: Registering MH to LLC or Corp?

Title and registered owner match , what would be the purpose of them if they didn't? You could show you as a lien holder with company purchasing unit by borrowing money from you.I'd be asking a professional tax person . rather than a bunch of rv yahoos on the net. Well I did ask my CPA,(he has no problem with registration to business) but he is only an accountant, he has not idea about the aspects of cost of insurance, wheather to register, to Corp dba Person, on title, but if you are checked by DMV, how would they know that you own the Corp? Also if you travel outside the US (canada or Mexico) they ask you for registration, if it does not match drivers license then they want to know who owns MH. For the ones that have LLC's or Corp. do you carry a statement of resolution, showing ownership of said vehicles.(MH & TV)? PS: what might help here is that my Corp is not listed with my name, it has a different name like ABC Contractors etc>

Registering MH to LLC or Corp?

I have more and more questions about this venture? First Happy Thanksgiving to all... If you register MH to LLC does it have to be titled to that LLC? 2nd does the insurance cost more for a business? 3rd Do you have any problems with registration compared to drivers license?, Reason, for these question is that I own a business in a different County in the same State, primary residence is in a different Co. which the PP tax is more than 2 times more than the Co. where business is located...Any Advice here that will help me out??? I have been told by my accountant that we can write of at least 20% of MH for Business. So part of the time MH will be in Co of Business...

Mail Alternatives?

I have a question about having a mail forwarding address? If you open an account at one of the Mail forwarding places, do you have to have all your mail sent to that address? I was looking into using this service for registering vehicle but did not want all my mail to go to the mail forwarding service, just the mail that is required for that registration. In reading the forms that you fill out it says that you have to file form with PO dept to forward all mail addressed to that person to the mail service... anyone clue me in on this subj:

RE: OK now for a real Fued!!

Mr.Mark I think you have a problem with your ISL, possibly a bad injector or turbo. I say this because I can loose my speed behind a truck and then pull out and pass as I gain speed back on a 6% grade. We had a friend who had a bad injector and had the same problems you describe. I would have Cummins do a analysis and find out what is happening. Quiet a bit of difference in the weight of the Dynasty vs the Endeavor

RE: OK now for a real Fued!!

What engine/trans does the Intrigue have? I love my Dynasty and have not been disappointed. CC is the other brand I was looking at because I also liked the Dynomax chassis almost as much as the S-Series Roadmaster. I think the Intrigue is standard with the Cummins ISL but if it has the optional C-13 (525HP) that would probably be the deciding factor for me if both coaches were similar condition and loaded with same equipment. Mike..It does have the Cat C-13 and the dynasty has the 400 cummins/

RE: Class A and Discounts?? Again..

I think that most dealers us the MSRP which is after all the options have been added and then take of the percentage, that the way I have been quoted. Deal in real dollars and not percentages.....Offer the dealer a dollar figure you are willing to pay and if he says yes you are happy. If he says no then you rethink your position.... That is a good rule of thumb, but there are so many different options that it is not unusual for a coach to have over 49,000 in options, some of them have over 60,000, so you can take a 350K Unit and dress it out to 425, so percentage is a good way to look at the price you have to pay in dollars., eventually it will come down to $$$, but all coaches are not the same price after options...

RE: OK now for a real Fued!!

On the surface, both good coaches...but you need to have each coach looked at and drive them both...see which one is in better shape....and go from there....I've seen diamond coaches at 15K miles and 15K coaches that look like they've been through the wringer...Also the roadmaster chassis is going to be different than the CC Dynamax. Once you've seen/driven both, or have had someone look at them for you....then decide... They are about 1500mi apart, both are advertised as excellent inside and out, but would inspect for sure before making a deal, but wanted to know which to expect the best you know what from, and I know that is pretty much a guess but we do have queit a few of both owners here, I know mine is better than yours theory...thanks

RE: Class A and Discounts?? Again..

I would go for an '09. One reason is that the '09 comes with digital ready TVs and 2 year newer tires. -Tom I know about the tires and the batteries but don't the 06/07 have about the same so far as TV's as long as they are LCD's don't they work??

OK now for a real Fued!!

You can tell that I am bored today, but I do need this question answered to some degree: 2 MH's, 1 07 monaco dynasty diamond , and 1-06 CC, Intrigue 530, both 42' units, and both about the same as milage, about 15,000, the dynasty has stack w/d and the CC has combo w/d. but the CC has a few more options than the dynasty. Which coach would be the best value to own and keep for a few years/ Mytime

RE: Class A and Discounts?? Again..

I was on the Internet the other day looking at prices and there are many 40% or slightly better discounts available on 08 models. It all depends on how that dealers cash flow is running. The MAJOR benefit of an 07 is the engine, as it should have one of the pre emission engines. I would start with a lowball figure to see just how bad they want to sell. Just remember, when you sign the dotted line, it is now a 2 year old USED unit, so use that to your advantage. That is my thoughts also about the 2yr old coach, of course I have seen prices all over the page so I really don't know what a private owner may sell one opposed to a dealer?, this pitucular unit is still at the factory., never been titled and will have full warranty if that amts to anything now a days. This Coach has a lot of extras that we probably will never learn how to operate... these push button things can get complicated sometime. I still have my clock set for day lite savings time, too complicated to change. LOL Marvin

RE: Class A and Discounts?? Again..

About the most I have been able to get on a Septor is 30% on 08, 25% on 09 the increase in price is about 5%,08 to 09. This is a Country Coach equipped well all options, not quiet sure of the miles on the odometer.. I was thinking of more discount than 35%, but have not made and offer yet..it is not exactly the colors that we like. Decisions, Decisions...may just fill up on turkey...

Class A and Discounts?? Again..

I would like to know what the experts here think of Purchasing a new class A, 07 left over, brand new with all warranties. This is one of the peferred A's mfg., My real question is what kind of a discount % wise would one expect to get off this Coach?, and would you have a problem with one left over for this length of time, what would you be looking for so far as thing that may cause a problem? Thanks Marvin

RE: Plastic Drawer / Door latches Monaco uses!!!!

I had the same problem with my Carriage Cameo and Carriage sent me all the new one Free, but they can be a booger to change, mine were stapled in and in the small space it took all my arm to reach them. I made a pry bar out of a screw driver, sharpened it so as to get under the oldpiece and remove it. Someone may have a better idea here...Watch the knuckles. LOL

RE: My Next Question??

Mark, what kind of leveling sys do you have on the Dynasty? Does it have both Air and Hyd.? Bruce, On the Beaver (It is one that we are also looking at) Contessa, what does it have for leveling, and how do you like it, would you get different if you did it again? Marvin
